I know we don't have our Halloween pictures out here yet, but we just couldn't wait to show off our new moves!

9 Months Old!

We are growing big! At our 9 month doctor's visit here were our stats:

Emma:
- 19 lbs 13 oz (80th percentile)
- 28 inches (80th percentile)
- 4 teeth

Claire:
- 18 lbs 2 oz (50th percentile)
- 28 1/4 inches (88th percentile)
- 5 teeth

We scoot around on our belly...Claire is very efficient at going backwards and Emma is great at pivoting in a circle. We prefer finger food now. When mom and dad try to feed us that baby mush we push it away! We seem to eat better for Lorilyn. We have mom and dad wrapped around our fingers.

We play together now. Sometimes playing evolves into stealing each other's toys!

Rrrroar! I am a leopard!

Emma likes to show off her teeth!

On Sundays we transform into Viking's cheerleaders!

Go Vikings!

What is Claire trying to do?
Very proud to be with dad!
We can't figure out why those balls pop and go away!

Someone is up to no good...

Scooting around.

We were lucky to have some visitors. Here is our Great Great Aunt Betty from CA! We had fun hanging out with her.

Our Great Grandpa Peterson paid us a visit this summer too. He lives in Las Vegas.

Riley's First Birthday!

Our cousin Riley celebrated his first birthday in Minnesota last weekend. It was fun to play with him. After seeing Riley run around the house, Mom and Dad are a little worried about us walking! They have it pretty good right now.

Riley didn't know what to do with his teddy bear birthday cake that Grandma made. After a few smacks, he finally realized it tasted good!

Emma's standing on her own! She is quite proud of herself!

There were so many of "our kind" at the party!

It was a fun weekend with cousin Riley!

7 Months Old!

We celebrated 7 months in style! We rocked out with our nanny!

Which way to the beach??

The morning after we were still in a good mood!

7 months is a lot of fun. We can sit all by ourselves without falling over.

We love being outside. We dig holes in the grass...don't tell Dad...he thinks it's the squirrels!

6 Months Old

We caught up to full term babies at our six month doctor visit. Claire was in the 75th percentile for height and 50th for weight. Emma was in the 50th percentile for height and 75th for weight. We're growing strong!

Here we are trying to figure out what Mom and Dad are doing to make us smile!

We are just starting to sit up on our own...still a little wobbly though.

Claire is chewing on everything. Her bottom front teeth popped through on July 15th. Her toes are yummy to chew on.

What's my sister doing??

Chewing on all ten toes??

We're advanced for our age.

We enjoyed our first Doty family reunion the last weekend in July.

Here we are with a few of our third cousins. There were 9 kids under the age of 5 the weekend of the reunion!

Always holding hands.

First Time in the Lake

We enjoyed our time at the lake last weekend. Emma enjoyed the grass, while Claire was trying to figure out what was tickling her feet!

Grandma Kennefick bought us innertubes to help us float in the lake...or to get cute pictures.

We had a lot of fun splashing in the water. Mom and Dad hope that we are water babies!

Family Self Portrait

We love being outside - we enjoy viewing the world from our Baby Bjorns. Here is a self portrait before a walk around the neighborhood. Claire was so kind to make sure Emma's hat looks good for the camera!

The Fun is Just Get Beginning!

Every week something new happens in the Kennefick family. Mom and Dad are afraid that we will be moving on our own soon and then their world will certainly change. Both of us rolled over this week. Emma was caught by surprise when it happened while Claire has been working on it for weeks.

Emma's new favorite thing is her tongue and she likes to show everyone!

She is also getting very strong and can sit on her own for a short bit.

Claire decided that she would rather sleep on her tummy than her back. She caught Lorilyn (our wonderful nanny) by surprise during nap time!

Claire decided to roll over the hard way - going from back to tummy. She uses her crib to get some momentum.

We are still having a lot of fun together.

We're getting strong enough to play in our exersaucer.
