Happy Halloween!

We had our funnest Halloween yet with lots of activities for the kids. We had 2 families over for a "Halloween Party." The girls decorated the house so it was "spooky." Connor was enamoured with his candy after we all went trick or treating. He has examined each piece a million times.

Ahoy Matey!

Florida Fun!

We had a fun time in FL this year. We were able to spend 7 whole days with Grandma and Grandpa Kennefick! Here are a pictures of our trip. The girls enjoying sunset.

Connor is helping us unpack.

We loved beach time!

We took a boat ride to Parrot Key. Connor used it as nap time!

We had fun at the zoo!

The girls' favorite thing to do was go swimming in the pool. Both girls were little fish, but Emma truly loves the water. She was not worried about not having an adult to catch her!

Connor supporting his mohawk look.

We ended our trip by watching a band play at Hemmingways. The kids had a lot of fun dancing to the music!

Naughty Words

The girls are learning the difference between good and bad. They have learned what "naughty words" are now. The first time we heard them use a "naughty word" was when Claire and Emma were building towers with their blocks (winter 2010). Claire's tower fell over and she said "dammit." Jeff and I looked with surprise at each other and asked her what she said. Emma came to Claire's rescue and said, "Claire said dammit because her tower fell over." A little while later, our nanny overheard the girls talking about "naughty words" during rest time. Claire asked Emma if "shoot" was a naughty word. Emma told her she could say "shoot" but not "dammit. Dammit was a naughty word." How nice that they have each other to learn what is good and bad! :)

Catch up on Connor

It is time to catch up with what has been going on in Connor's life... He got his first tooth when he was just over 4 months (April 2010). He now has a mouthfall of teeth. He started walking just after he turned one in December, but now he is running - chasing his sisters around! He can say uh-oh, ball, shoes, woof woof, up. At his 15 month well-check his height and weight were in the 10 and 30th percentile, while his head circumference was off the charts! It's all those brains!

Here are a few pictures of him over the last few months.

Skating Round 2

It wasn't without falls as you will see, but we made an entire lap on our own. We were joking about training for the Olympics in our last post...but we're starting to think seriously about making a run at in 2022.

Connor is two months!

It is hard to believe that our baby boy is already two months old! His favorite past time is being held...they say you can't spoil a baby but he certainly knows what he likes already! He is growing quickly - already over 11 pounds!
