Father's Day Weekend

We had a nice Father's Day weekend. The weather finally cooperated with us and on Saturday we went on our first boat ride. At first we weren't too excited about the life jackets, but we soon learned to think of them as a body pillow. We slept the entire time so we missed our first boating experience!


We celebrated Dad's first Father's Day at Canterbury Park. We were able to celebrate the day with Great Grandpa Kennefick, Grandpa Kennefick and Grandpa Peterson!

Emma took Father's Day very seriously...while Claire thought the day was all about her.

5 Months Old!

We turned 5 months old on June 12th. Our parents think we are a lot of fun right now. We like to be entertained at all times. We grab on to toys and everything goes into our mouths. We also have realized that we have voices we can use at really loud levels!

We have also noticed that we have each other. When we are near each other, we reach for each other's hands. We talk to each other, laugh at each other, and when one of us cries, the other starts crying as well.

We sleep pretty good at night. Our bed time is normally around 8 and we sleep until about 5:30. Then we have an early morning snack and go right back to bed.

Four Months Old!

We were 4 months old on May 12th. We had our check-up at our doctor and we have definitely been growing! Claire was 12lbs 1 oz, 23 1/2 inches and Emma was 12lbs 11oz, 24 inches. All this growing must require lots of sleep because we almost sleep through the nigth. We don't want our parents to have it too easy so we wake between 4:30-5:00am each morning for an early breakfast before going back to sleep.

The doctor thinks we are ready for solids, but we aren't so sure about it! But it sure is fun to make a mess!

Our Baptism Weekend

We were baptised on April 20th. We met our cousin Riley, Aunt Megan, and Uncle Brendan for the first time.

Three Months Old!

We turned 3 months old on April 12th!

Emma had a tough month though. Dad had to bring her to the emergency room to remove a hair tourniquet on one of her toes. One of mom's hairs wrapped around her toe 8 times - so tightly that the doctor had to cut her toe on both sides to remove it. After it was removed, it healed very quickly.

Then, when we got home from Florida, Emma developed an allergic reaction to something and had hives all over her body. We don't know what caused it, but we are glad they are gone!

We've started to sleep a little better at night now. Every once in a while we only get up once, eat and go right back to bed. Mom and dad are hoping this is a trend that sticks!

Our First Vacation

We went on our first vacation to Bonita Springs, FL to visit Grandma and Grandpa Kennefick. We did great on the airplane - we slept the entire time both ways.

Emma made mom and dad laugh when she couldn't figure out where the voices were coming from when the pilot came on!

We went on lots of walks along the beach.


We really enjoyed our walks but unfortunately we could never stay awake to see the scenery!

Our favorite toy at Grandma and Grandpa's was the ceiling fan in their bedroom. We got to look at it with every diaper change!


We had fun getting dressed up in summer clothes! I think mom and Grandma had more fun though...






Emma wanted Claire out of the way here...but little did Emma know that Claire would try to eat her hand!

Happy Easter!
